About

I'm a mathematician living and working in Ohio. I started to learn about geometry and topology while I was an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. After graduating, I went to the University of Hawai'i-Manoa to study algebraic topology. From 2007-2018, I taught and did research at Monmouth University in New Jersey. Currently, I am an assistant professor at The Ohio State University (Marion campus). My main interests are in knot theory and low-dimensional topology.

When I'm not doing math, I like to spend time with my spouse and our THREE dogs. I also enjoy running and reading comic books.
